About

I don’t understand blogging, so this will serve to organize my photos, of which I have many and which are all running riot in and around my laptop. Because I don’t understand this, chances are it’ll look as chaotic as the riot-running of my photos.

I’m young for the amount of places I’ve lived in (São Paulo, Brazil; Manhattan, New Jersey, Brewster (NY), USA; Mexico City, Mexico; Rivaz, Switzerland; Edinburgh, Scotland; Barcelona, Spain).

I did my undergraduate degree in Literature and Philosophy at the University of Edinburgh, with a dissertation on the use of violence in Jean Toomer’s Cane and Mário de Andrade’s Macunaíma. I’m currently doing a Masters at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Comparative Literature and Literary Translation (in Spanish and Catalán).

I have worked as Photography Editor for Edinburgh University’s The Student as well as Fest Magazine. I also worked as editor of The Student‘s Creative Writing and Arts supplement, Tontine. I have been nominated under the category of Best Photographer in The Herald Student Media Awards and The Guardian Student Media Awards.

My all time (photo) hero is William Eggleston.

P.S: You should click on the photos because often there will be a larger photo hidden behind it. Or more than one image. Click and you shall see, etc.
